NORTH ATTLEBORO – Walter Kirylo, 90, of 300 Washington St. passed away on Saturday November 10, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the loving husband of the late Yvette (Chamberland) Kirylo.
Born on July 29, 1928 in Attleboro, MA he was the son of the late Peter and Agnes (Nyzio) Kirylo.
Walter was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Unites States Army in the 2nd armored division. He received an honorable discharge for his service.
He was employed by the Robins Co. for 20 years.
Walter enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by 6 children: Linda Carlin of Leominster, Edward Kirylo of North Attleboro, Agnes Durango of Pawtucket, Rose Lipsett of Lincoln, Joanne Silva of North Attleboro and Ann Aveiro of Attleboro. 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his grandson Michael Silva.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018 from 4-7pm in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home 15 Grove St. North Attleboro. A funeral will begin from the funeral home at 9am on Friday November 16, 2018 with a Mass of Christian burial starting at 10am in Sacred Heart Church 58 Church St. North Attleboro. A burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Towne St. North Attleboro.
