North Attleboro-Janet M. (Mowry) Ciolfi, 85, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Arthur Ciolfi for 22 years before his death in 1995 and the former wife of the late Leo Glennon who passed away in 1985.
Born June 19, 1933 in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Edith (Wood) Mowry.
Janet grew up in North Attleboro and attended the “Little Red School House” on Hoppin Hill Ave. and she was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.
Janet owned and operated Jan Michaels Jewelry in North Attleboro. She worked for Texas Instruments in Attleboro during the 1960’s and was also employed by Disneyland in California during their opening in the 1950’s. Over the years Janet also worked in retail at Macy’s, Filenes, and Cracker Barrel.
She loved Bingo and she enjoyed spending time at Foxwoods Casino where she once won a car.
Janet is survived by her two sons: Leo Glennon, Jr. and his companion, Madeleine of North Attleboro and Daniel and his wife Susan of North Attleboro; her grandchildren: Beth Glennon, Michael Glennon, and Christopher Glennon; her great-grandchildren: Cameron Glennon, Gavin Glennon, Mackenzie Glennon, and Dylan Glennon; her siblings: Judy Anderson of California, Cathy Petzold of Florida, and Christine Kinzle of Florida.
She was predeceased by her grandson Dylan Glennon who passed away in 2010 and her brothers Robert, David, and Donald Mowry.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 12 noon. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery
