Holly Leary, 68, on March 21, 2021

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Holly Leary, 68, of North Attleboro passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021 surrounded by family after a valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Holly was born on April 9th, 1952 to the late Howard and Mary (Martello) Leary. Holly was a much-loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, partner and friend. She leaves behind her son Jason and is wife Nichole and children; Sophia, Kaiden and Gracie from North Attleboro. Kenny Simmons her loving partner of 27 years. Her brother Scott Leary and wife Lisa, sister Heidi Leary and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was sister of the late Timothy Leary, Brenda (Leary) O’Brien Kelley and Cynthia (Leary) Coyle.

Holly was a lifelong worker in the local jewelry industry and a hairdresser. She was an animal activist and took in and cared for many animals throughout her life. She loved her racoons.

Holly Lived, Laughed and Loved all. She always found a way to make you smile and had a heart of a lion. 

Holly’s family will hold a time for visitation on Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home,15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

  • So very sorry for your loss..you are all in my thoughts and prayers… although I didn’t know her that long she was always a warm and inviting soul…always greeted me with a smile and a warm heart..I am grateful I got to know her she had a heart of gold and the strength of a lion…she will be missed..fly high sweet angel.❤️

Holly was always the best friend through good times & rough patches always a ray of sunshine this woman had a heart of gold, always kind & loved The loss of Holly brings many tears as her laughter ,smile & so much more will be missed but will forever be remembered in my heart She will be missed very much to all those that LOVED her I thank God she is not suffering & she is in peace in heaven
