PLAINVILLE – Bernard C. Foster, Jr. , 82, of Cowell Street passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. 

Born August 29, 1935 in Newton, he was a son of the late Bernard Sr. and Dorthy (Thomas) Foster.

Bernie grew up in Watertown and moved to North Attleboro in 1954.  He has been a resident of Plainville since 1992.

He loved sports, particularly the Red Sox and Patriots and loved mowing grass.  He was active at the Plainville Athletic League where he cut the fields and also mowed for Wrentham Pop Warner football.

He is survived by three siblings; Carol Onoyan and husband Harry of Attleboro, Donald Foster of Cumming, GA and Alan Foster and wife Mary Ann of Franklin; and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was brother of the late Dorothy Jean Moran.

Services will be held privately at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
