Audrey Manson 05/16/2018

Audrey Joan (Treweek) Manson was born on April 15, 1925, in Boston Massachusetts.  She entered eternal rest on May 16, 2018, after a brief illness. She was married to the love of her life, the late William (Bill) Manson, who predeceased her in 1997.

They moved to the sunny beaches of Florida, where Audrey worked as a Switchboard Operator for the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.  Together in retirement, they danced through life and traveled the world, living each day to the fullest!  Eventually, they relocated to Massachusetts and enjoyed spending time with family.  Audrey has resided at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home since 2011.  She was an active participant in all activities and especially loved her Thursday Night Bingo’s!  Audrey got great pleasure in serving as the President of The Resident Council while at the Madonna.  She was fond and grateful for the loving care she received and friendships she made while living there.  Audrey is survived by her brother Clifford Treweek of Bridgewater, MA and was predeceased by her siblings William, Norman and Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Visitation calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6-8 pm.  A private burial will be held at a later day.

  • Nancy and family. I am so very sorry of hearing of Audrey’s passing. I went to visit her at the hospital, and saw her the day she came home, but had not been able to visit again until yesterday when I discovered she had passed. I am so sorry. She was so fond of my mother Mary-Ellen, and I have such sweet memories of her and my mom together, along with Ray. They were all very happy together. May they all rest in peace.

  • Audrey shared her smile and warm heart to all who shared her day to day at Madonna Manor We all miss her especially Ruth. Audrey and Ruth share many bingo ralleys over the past few years and even had matching fashions together on the third floor at least one day of each new week. Lord rest her soul.

  • I will always remember how Aunt Audrey enjoyed her favorite trips with Uncle Bill and my parents to the Beacon in New Hampshire. Will miss her greatly.

  • Audrey was a loving sister, and she was a true friend to all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
