Alice D. Milot, 89, on January 2, 2024

BOCA RATON, FL – Alice D. Milot, aged 89, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, at WillowBrooke Court in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born on April 22, 1934, in New York City, to the late Gerald B. Milot and Alice (Murphy) Milot. Alice spent her early years in Bronxville, NY, before moving with her family to North Attleboro, MA, in 1941.

Alice was a dedicated scholar, earning her Bachelor’s degree from the College of New Rochelle and a Master’s degree from Boston College. She continued her education with additional graduate work in education and mathematics in the Boston area. Alice had a long and fulfilling career as a mathematics teacher at Mansfield High School and Wellesley Senior High School.

A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, Alice’s passion for the team was a well-known and cherished aspect of her life.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Robert Clark of Jamestown, KY; Charles Clark and his wife Mary of Attleboro; William Clark and his wife Lisa of North Attleboro; and Sally Gouck and her husband Neal of North Attleboro. Alice also leaves behind many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary E. Clark.

A committal service will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery, located at 359 Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In keeping with Alice’s wishes, there will be no visitation before the service.
