NORTH ATTLEBORO – Marie E. Chelotti, 81, of Elm Street passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas B. McAulay and Guido Chelotti.
Born December 23, 1936 in Boston, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Dwyer.
Marie grew up in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston and was a 1954 graduate of Roslindale High School. She has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 45 years.
She worked as a programmer at Raytheon in Nashua, NH for 40 years before retiring 25 years ago.
Marie loved ballroom dancing. She would go dancing two or three times a week for years. She danced at Mosley’s in Dedham and the Roseland Ballroom in Taunton. She also loved to cook.
She is survived by three children: Cheryl Varteresian and husband Wayne of Uxbridge and Thomas and Kenneth McAulay both of North Attleboro; two grandchildren: Jason Chelotti and his wife Lindsey of Franklin and Thomas McAulay, Jr. of Dorchester; and two great-grandchildren: Ryder and Kaiya Chelotti both of Franklin.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26 at 12 noon at St. Mark’s Church, 105 Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls.
