Jeanne (Fournier) Bosworth, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12th 2018. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James Fournier of Providence, RI and Noelzia (Benoit) Fournier of Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Jeanne graduated from Case High School in Swansea, MA and worked as an administrative assistant for an accounting firm in Providence, RI. She married George H. Bosworth Jr in 1949 at St. Dominic’s in Swansea, MA. They made their home in many parts of the US together, including California, Colorado and Massachusetts. Jeanne loved taking care of her family, traveling, and cooking, and she was known for her eye for design/presentation, attention to detail, and quick wit. She always had helpful advice for any situation and lived by the phrase “if you’re going to do something, do it right.” She was a warm and loving person who was quick to help those in need. Her positive outlook on life and sense of humor will be missed by all.
Jeanne was pre-deceased by her husband of 39 years George Henry Bosworth, Jr, her sister Norma (Fournier) Charette and her niece Susan Jeanne Charette. She is survived by her two children, Wayne George Bosworth of Hope Valley, RI and Barbara Bosworth Feloney of Merrimack, NH; five grandchildren, Brooke Hengtgen and her husband Greg of Valrico, FL, Brittany Bosworth of Warwick, RI, Brandon Bosworth of Hope Valley, RI, Kaitlin Feloney Fraser and her husband Tom of Boston, MA and Abigail Feloney of Merrimack, NH; three great-grandchildren, Hadley, Harper and Jack; two nephews, Larry Charette and his wife Tina of Scottsville, NY, and Paul Charette and his wife Clare of Tomball, TX; two nieces, Gail Lim of Rochester, NY, and Priscilla Rohelia and her husband Joe of North Providence, RI; and several great-nieces and nephews.
