NORTH ATTLEBORO-Shirley Y (Coley) Sager, 85, of North Washington Street passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2017, in Madonna Manor Nursing Home, from a short illness. She was the wife of the late Lyle G. Sager.
Shirley was a homemaker most of her life and spent the last 53 years as a resident of North Attleboro. She enjoyed early morning walks, reading and listening to her books, crocheting, and traveling, but more than anything, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored with all of her heart.
Shirley was the loving mother of Thomas Sager and his wife Diane of Denver, CO; Lynn Allard and her husband Lawrence of North Attleboro, MA; and Dorothy Rogers and her husband Roland of Attleboro, MA. She was the loving and adoring grandmother of Jason Allard and his wife Kristen; Jessica Allard and her fiancé Michael Golden; Jennifer Rogers and her boyfriend Theron Donovan; and Sean Rogers and his fiancé Alyssa Deyesso. Shirley is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Dorothy Brown and James Coley.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 10 am. Burial will be private.
