NORTH SMITHFIELD – Karl K. Kendzierski, 61, of 860 Iron Mine Hill Rd. passed away after a short illness on December 4, 2017 in RI Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the longtime companion of Cynthia (Sheehan) Nichols.
Born, December 4, 1956 in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of Charles and Denise M. (Pacheco) Kendazierski.
Karl grew up in Burriville and was a graduate of Burriville High School.
Karl worked as a mechanic at various dealerships throughout his life, but was employed for 30 years at LaVallee Automotive in Rhode Island.
He was a member of Club Lafayette in Woonsocket, RI. He loved NASCAR, antique cars, and football. He was an avid Patriots fan.
In addition to Cynthia, Karl is survived by his children: Bruce Limburg and his wife Janice of Mendon, MA; and Rose Limburg of Florida; His Stepchildren: Brenda Paige and her husband Russell of Millville, MA; Michelle Barbeau and her husband Edward of Brookline, CT; Wayne Nichols and his wife Allison of East Providence; Kim Martin of Woonsocket; and Tina Proia and her husband Vincent of North Attleboro; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Karl’s life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10 am with a funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI followed by a collation at VFW Post 7, 842 Social St. Woonsocket, RI.
