NORTH ATTLEBORO - Mary Adele Thimot, 91, of North Attleboro passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Richard Thimot for 47 years until his death in 2012 and also to Frank Wenhold who passed away in 1962.
Born September 22, 1926 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Doris (Mondor) Bishop.
Mary was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and was a 1944 graduate of North Attleboro High School. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother and also worked as a secretary at the Richard W. Thimot Company for many years. She also worked at the North Attleboro Housing Authority.
Mary was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church. She loved to shop, particularly at the Dollar Store and she socialized at Jr.'s Bar and Grill in Attleboro where she was part of their annual charity pub crawl. She also enjoyed reading the enquirer and watching Fox News.
Mary is survived by five children: Sheryl Wenhold Carnes of St. Augustine, FL, Frank Wenhold of Attleboro, Patricia Brockway of Norton, Raymond Wenhold of North Attleboro, and Sharon Shalno of Weymouth;
her sister Elma McDougald of California; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was mother of the late Nancy Wenhold Proal and sister of the late William Bishop.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 9 a.m. from the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro followed by a Mass at St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 10 o'clock. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
