PLAINVILLE- Edward W. Fiske, 81, of School Street, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Attleboro Health Care Nursing Home in Attleboro. He was the husband of Mary (O’Grady) Fiske to whom he was married to for 61 years.
Born February 28, 1936 in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Leon and Alice (Hesford) Fiske.
Edward grew up in North Attleboro and attended North Attleboro Schools. He has been a resident of Plainville since 1970.
He retired in 2003 from Robert’s Automotive (the former Pelletier’s Automotive) in Attleboro after 37 years.
Upon retirement, Edward enjoyed his trips to Tennessee. He also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and was an avid reader. But most of all, he always loved the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mary, his survivors include his children: Mark Fiske and Karen Fiske, both of Plainville; his daughter-in-law: Sue Fiske of Norton; his grandchildren: Brittany Frost and her husband Orin of North Attleboro; Brian Fiske of Attleboro; Jacob Fiske of Attleboro; and Daniel Fiske of Norton; his great-grandchild: Max Frost of North Attleboro; and his “best friend” Maddie, his golden retriever.
He was the father of the late David Fiske who passed away on June 15, 2017.
Funeral Services for Edward will be held privately.
