ATTLEBORO – Josephine H. Durazzano, 93, of George Street passed away on October 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Durazzano to whom she was married to for over 50 years until his passing on June 15, 2001.
Born in Quincy, MA on December 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Kurpieski) Ostrowski.
After Josephine and Michael married, they moved to Bellingham, MA where they raised their family.
In addition to being a mother and homemaker, Josephine also worked for Milford Shoe, H & R Block, and ABC vacuum in North Attleboro over the years.
She enjoyed square dancing, reading and especially spending time with her family. Josephine was an avid N.E. Patriots fan and always had a special love of chocolate.
Josephine is survived by her children: Diane Russell of Jacksonville, FL; Nancy Mosley of Thompson, CT; Michele Price of Palm Coast, FL; and Michael K. Durazzano of North Attleboro.; her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her siblings: William Ostrowski, Elizabeth Reedy, Stacia Pica, Joseph Ostrowski, Yanni Ostrowski, Jacob Ostrowski, and Mary Avitable.
Visitation for Josephine will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro from 8:30 to 9:30 followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Attleboro.
