NORTH ATTLEBORO – James E. Guilbault, Jr. of North Attleboro passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.
Born October 13, 1959 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late James Sr. and Theresa A. (McCarthy) Guilbault.
James was raised in Jamaica Plain before moving to Mansfield in 1967. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School, class of 1978. He has been living in North Attleboro since 1981.
James was employed as a dishwasher for the Sheraton Hotel, now the Holiday Inn, in Mansfield, MA before retiring in 2016 after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Arc of Attleboro since high school and also a member of the Horace Mann Educational Associates of Plainville. He was an avid Boston Bruins Fan.
James is survived by his 3 sisters: Laurette Whittier and her husband Frederick of North Attleboro; Christina DaCruz and her husband the late Michael DaCruz of Plainville; and Eileen Balonis and her husband William of Phoenix, AZ.; 5 nieces and 1 nephew and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Visiting for James will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Plainville Cemetery, Plainville, MA.
