WRENTHAM – Marion Spadoni, 97, of West Barn Rd. passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Serenity Hill Nursing Home in Wrentham. She was the loving wife of the late Adam Spadoni.
Born on May 18, 1921 in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Emil and Philomena (Lanza) Spadone.
Marion grew up in Newark and was a graduate of Barringer High School.
She retired from Sturdy Memorial Hospital after 20 years working as a nursing assistant.
Marion enjoyed sewing, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Eileen Piasecki and her husband Fred from North Attleboro, her sons: John Spadoni and his wife Cindy from Plainville, and Tom from Cumberland, RI. She will be missed by her 11 cherished grandchildren and her 20 adored great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Angie Ventola and her brothers Emil Spadone of New Jersey and Vincent Spadone of California.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Anthony Spadone and her stepson Alfred Spadoni.
Visiting hours for Marion will be held on Sunday November 18, 2018 in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home 15 Grove St. North Attleboro from 2-5pm. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday November 19, 2018 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in St. Mary’s Church 14 Park St. North Attleboro. A burial will immediately follow at Shephardville Cemetery Taunton St. Plainville.
