Born in Attleboro on August 24, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Phyllis (Rose) Skolski.
Cheryl grew up in North Attleboro and attended North Attleboro Schools. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Bill Galvin Realty in Wrentham for many years and later was employed as a receptionist for Armstrong, Pollis, and Clapp in North Attleboro.
In her younger years Cheryl was a Girl Scout leader and was very interested in gardening. Her gardens were beautiful and her green thumb was bigger than the green giant’s. She had a love of the beach, especially Mattapoisett Beach, and she had a great love for all of her dogs.
Cheryl was a social butterfly and enjoyed her time spent with her friends, but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by her 3 children: Shelly Medeiros of North Attleboro, Tara Briggs of North Attleboro; and John “Joey” Medeiros of Attleboro; her 7 grandchildren: Zachary and his wife Lea, Jacob, Hailey, Nicholas, Danielle, Brianna, Isabelle; her 7 great-grandchildren: Finley, Louis, M.J., Kiera, Oliver, Ava, and Kodah; her siblings: Marsha Marcoullier and her husband Larry of North Attleboro; Sandy Reynolds and her husband Danny of Florida; Joe Skolski and his wife Ann of North Attleboro; and Wanda DeYorio of North Attleboro; her former husband John Medeiros; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the great-grandmother of the late Jay Hudson.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Bethany Village Fellowship,
516 Newport Ave., Attleboro, MA at 5 p.m.
