NORTH ATTLEBORO – Arthur Raymond Cloutier, 72, of Roxane Square passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at Norwood Hospital. He was the husband of the late Linda Grimaldi Cloutier who passed away in 2002.
Born January 15, 1945, he was a son of the late Arthur I. and Aurore B. (Jeanneau) Cloutier.
Art was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and a graduate of North Attleboro High School. He served the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He retired from the U.S. Post Office as Postmaster and was an active member of Elks Lodge 1011 in North Attleboro and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Art enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing cards, his animals and breakfast with his friends.
He is survived by his grandson Brett Edward Cloutier, his daughter-in-law Marisa Cloutier-Bristol both of North Attleboro; his brother Richard Harris of Attleboro, his father-in-law Pasqual “Pat” Grimaldi of North Attleboro, sisters-in-law Lorna Paone and Patricia Ryan; many nieces and nephews and his companion Susan Savill of North Attleboro.
He was the father of the late Jane Cloutier who passed on April 7, 2001 and the late John Patrick Cloutier who passed on September 6, 2006.
An Elks ritual will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 9:30 a.m. at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A memorial service will follow the ritual at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial with military honors at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
