NORTH ATTLEBORO – Shirley M. Shumaker, 50, of North Attleboro passed away early Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her devoted family after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born August 10, 1967 in Milford and was a daughter of Judith (McLaughlin) Shumaker of North Attleboro.

Shirley grew up in North Attleboro and was a graduate of Tri-County High School.  She also lived in Franklin for several years.

She worked as a coordinator at Home Goods for the past six years.

Shirley loved nature, particularly gardening and butterflies. She was strong, fun-loving, compassionate, and loved people.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé Dan Fralick , son Ryan Robinson and his fiancée Maria Spellman of Attleboro, daughter Kaitlyn Morse of Franklin, grandson Caden Levine and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 25 from 4-7 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.  A funeral service will be held after visitation on Friday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

Shirley I loved you the first day I met you and will love you forever. You made my brother so happy and I want you to know that I will always be grateful for how much you loved him.
