Elizabeth, my grandmother, was lovingly called Meme Betty. I was lucky to spend much time growing up with Meme, whether on the farm, or her gingerbread style house in Maine. We enjoyed shopping for treasures at junk stores and my love for vintage and antiques grew from those trips. I loved visiting Meme, and I was extremely fortunate my 3 children have fond memories of her and the farm. There were several things I could count on as you drove down the tree lined drive way to her perfectly decorated farm house: Meme would have the best magazines and catalogs to read on her porch, chessman or Sausalito cookies and tea, and if timed correctly, lunch was always at 12. I will miss her and our talks. I will cherish our trips to California and my stays in Maine. And love you forever.
