ATTLEBORO- Eileen (Ryan) DeWolfe, 71 , of Golden Living-Garden Place passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Boston on December 20, 1945, she was the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gillis) Ryan.
Eileen was a graduate of South Boston High School. She worked for many years at the Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston.
Eileen is survived by her beloved family; son, Patrick O’Malley and his wife Lyn of McDonough, Georgia; her daughter, Kimberly DeWolfe of Taunton, MA; her adored grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Patrick; her sister, Dorothy Crowley of North Attleboro; nephews, Larry and Michael Crowley and their families, and extended family from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Eileen loved people, fun, and laughter. She loved her grandchildren, her pets, and she enjoyed watching the Patriots. She especially enjoyed when families of other residents would visit her and bring their pets in to visit. Eileen was loved very much and will be missed.
A very special thank you to everyone at Golden Living, you were all so kind and caring to Eileen. Also, the Doctors at Dana Farber and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Brewster Ambulance Service.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Eileen’s memory may be made to the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter P.O. Box 592 Attleboro, MA. 02703. Funeral Services for Eileen will be held privately and are entrusted to Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
