CALIFORNIA – Leroy F. Broduer, Jr. of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, formerly of Plainville passed away on December 19, 2016. He was the husband of the late Maryann (Enos) Brodeur.
Born in Milford, MA on May 9, 1941, he was the son of Leroy F. and Aldora B. (Ferland) Broduer, Sr.
Leroy grew up in Plainville and was a 1959 graduate of King Philip Regional High School.
He entered the US. Marine Corp in 1968 and made the Marines his life. He served in the Vietnam War as a Gunnery Sergeant for two tours. He was based in Camp Lejeure and Flint, MI where he served as a recruiter for the marines. He also participated in Community Service with the Marines.
He enjoyed a leisurely game of golf.
Leroy is survived by his sister Jeanne Carvalho of Attleboro; 5 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was the brother of the late David Broduer, the late Phyllis Achin, and the late Richard Broduer.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, March 16 from 8:30 to 9:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park St., North Attleboro.
A funeral Mass will be held immediately following visiting at 9 am in St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street; North Attleboro.
