NORTH ATTLEBORO - Michael E. White, 65, of Jefferson Street passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at home after a seven-year battle with cancer.
Born April 6, 1951 in Attleboro, he was a son of Melvin and Marilyn (Lampher) White of North Attleboro.
Michael was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and a graduate of North Attleboro High School in 1969.
While at North, he played baseball and was a guitarist in several bands.
He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mike was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and was active in the charity "Friends Helping Friends". He was also a huge fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Job White of North Attleboro; two step-sons Justin Holland of Vermont and Chad Holland and wife Liz of Cumberland, RI; and three siblings: Stephen White of Plainville, Kenneth White of Madison, NH and Beth White of North Attleboro; and grandfather of Marcus and Kasey Holland.
He was former husband of Joanne Holland-White of Florida and was brother of the late Timothy White.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 4 from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro immediately followed by a service in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Plainville Cemetery.
