CRANSTON – Troy F. Willis, 39, of Bay View Avenue passed away on November 2, 2016 in Johnston, RI. He was the husband of Selina (Aspice) Willis.
Born in Warwick, RI. on November 26, 1976. He was the son of Roy Higgins and Frannie E. Willis-Mota. He was also the stepson of Victor Mota.
Troy grew up in Cranston, RI and attended Cranston East High School.
He worked in carpentry and different body shops including Curreri Collison Center in Johnston, RI.
Troy was mechanically inclined and good with his hands. You would most often find him taking things apart and putting them back together again.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for his kind heart, explosive personality and the ability to make everyone laugh.
Besides his wife and parents, he will be survived by his 3 loving children: Treavor Willis, Braylen Willis and Jordan McKenna. His brother: Robert S.B. Willis of Woonsocket, RI. His aunt Frances Lewis of West Warwick, RI. His uncle Steven Willis of West Palm Beach, FL. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2016, 9-11am in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 21 Traverse St. Providence, RI immediately followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am. Burial to follow at the Swan Point Cemetery 585 Blackstone, Blvd., Providence, RI.
