Claire was one of the first people we met when we moved to Division St. She lived across the street from us and I have so many fond memories of Claire. She was always friendly, kind and genuine. She let all the kids in the neighborhood sled on "Bunny Hill". She was such a hard worker and kept her yard and home in impeccable condition. She had so much energy.

She has always held a special place in my heart. I am sad to hear of her passing. People like Claire are few and far between. I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Claire. I feel so fortunate to have known her. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Lucienne & Georgianne, You may remember me from the "Town Restaurant" as a former waitress there; but more recently as a former employee of the Freihofer's bread outlet here in N. Attleboro. I didn't realize that Claire was your sister until i read of her passing in the Free Press this past week. i seem to recall that you'd mentioned of her declining health awhile back when our paths had crossed last. Let me express my heartfelt condolences to you & yours in this time of grief, but KNOW that she now rests with the angels & is smiling down on all of you. i remember her from shopping at the outlet, always of good humor & quick witted. i have fond memories of her & she will be dearly missed. Again, my deepest sympathies, God speed. Peace be with you.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to Mrs. Prefontaine's entire family. The McClain family has so many wonderful memories of our time spent on "Bunny Hill". Your Mom and Dad were so gracious to have allowed all the neighborhood kids in their yard year after year, season after season to enjoy "Bunny Hill". We still talk about the wonderful childhood memories we have shared on "Bunny Hill" and that is thanks to your Mom and Dad's generosity! Also, my Mother, Margaret McClain always thought so highly for your very kind and caring Mother and admired the women she was and all her talents as a semesters. I too have had the pleasure of enjoying her gentle, kind personality and fine work as a semesters. She was a lovely women who touched more people than she could imagine. With warm regards, thoughts and prayers, Mary Louise (McClain) Champagne

Dave and I have been lucky to get to know Clair by moving to Riverview Estates. She was a wonderful neighbor and a caring person. I first heard of Clair from my father, Bob Fogg, who at one time took Clair and others to Lake Pearl once a month and dancing in E. Providence. She had a good life and now up with her Lord

Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to all of Claire's family at this time of profound sorrow. Claire was not only our seamstress for 30 years, but truly was an inspiration to all who knew her. We used to marvel at her energy, her wonderful attitude in life and her genuine kindness. Your Mom always spoke so lovingly about her daughters and grandchildren and her family was her world. Christmas will be very different this year without one of her famous meat pies. Please know Claire will always be remembered in our most treasured thoughts and memories.

Our family has such fond memories of Aunt Claire, my father's dear Aunt and my great aunt. She had such a zest for life and always went out of her way to help others. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone whose lives she touched, especially to her daughters and their families.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dianne and Denise and their families. The bond with their Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmoth er was loving and special. Claire was an incredible woman and shared a long and loving marriage with Bert. Her girls were her life and always on her mind. Family and friends were always welcomed in her home. I have many special memories of her sewing and fashion talents. She was a very special part of MISS & MRS., to not only my Mom and me but to all our clients. I will hold her always in my heart and prayers. May she rest in peace and have perpetual light shine upon her.

What a wonderful lady. I truly loved talking to her as a customer and a neighbor. All of those times spent on "Bunny Hill" as kids. Great memories! I sure she will be greatly missed. My brother and I were just talking about her on Monday. Our sympathy to all of you.
