NORTH ATTLEBORO – Margaret M. “Peggy” LeBlanc, 71, of North Attleboro passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Morton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Maurice LeBlanc for over 43 years.
Born October 16, 1944 in Milford, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Ethel (Banier) Fricker/Miller and stepdaughter to William Miller.
Peggy was a longtime resident of North Attleboro and a 1962 graduate of North Attleboro High School. She worked several years at MiniSystems and then ran Nana’s Daycare out of her home for 25 years. She also worked as a school bus monitor in North Attleboro for several years.
Peggy loved going to casinos and travelling. She and her husband took several road trips to casino's including Las Vegas.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Maurice LeBlanc, Jr. and wife Erin of Yuba City, CA, Gregory LeBlanc and wife Madeleine of North Attleboro, Christopher LeBlanc of North Attleboro and Todd LeBlanc of North Providence, RI;
Two brothers: George Fricker and wife Betty of Duxbury and William Miller and wife Debra of Plymouth;
11 grandchildren: Chad, Corey, Drew, Haley, Chloe, Molly, Zachary, Shane, Lindsay, Courtney and Tracy; three great-grandchildren: Hannah, Theo and Joel;
A devoted niece, Keiran Preston, a son-in-law Paul Mitchell and several other nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Eleanor Mitchell who passed away in April.
Visiting hours will be held in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro on Wednesday, September 14 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 7 p.m. Burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.
