Vicky Lyn Deschenes 05/08/2016

ATTLEBORO- Vicky Lyn (Royer) Deschenes, 55 of James Street crossed into eternal peace on May 8, 2016 after a long battle with lung cancer and COPD.
Born in Attleboro on May 28, 1960, she was the daughter of Audrey (Allen) Moore and Thomas Gibbons.
Vicky was a member of Attleboro High School’s Class of 1978. She lived in Attleboro for the past 7 years.
An avid skier in her younger years, she also enjoyed traveling and adored animals, especially her beloved dogs Sebastian and Tara.
Vicky worked in the restaurant business for most of her life.  She worked at Theodore’s Landing in Plainville; Joseph’s and Hibachi in Rhode Island and most recently worked as a bartender at Amvet in Pawtucket.
Vicky was a family to many and a friend to all.  She was always going the extra mile for those she loved and cared for.  Vivacious, charming and funny, we will always remember her infectious laugh, quick wit and how much she gave of herself to everyone she knew.  We will treasure those memories forever.
In addition to her parents, Vicky is survived by her sister Jacqueline Moore and her partner Richard Auclair of North Attleboro; her nephews:  Joshua Moore, Ryan Moore, Nicholas Moore, and Joseph Royer; her nieces: Natosha Pimental, McKenzie Auclair, Tawnya May and Audrey Royer.  She is also survived by many great nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Royer, in 1996.
Visiting hours will be held in the Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 4-8 pm.

I'm going to miss you Vicky. Thank you Vicky for always wanting to do for others and you never asked for anything in return. You always had a heart of gold.
Thank you Lord for blessing her with peace, no more pain or suffering or tears.
Love Aunt Kathy!

Dear Deschenes Family: Please accept my sincere condolences. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon "death will be no more."(Revelati on 21:4) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(Acts 24:15) Until then, I hope the memories of Vicky and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

You were called home to be with God.
Our hearts are breaking but in time
we shall mend.

For In our heart she lingers on
Her smile,her laughter,her wonderful
caring heart.

In Vicky's own special way
She will comfort you in each
and every day.

You will feel her presence in every
single breeze. It will
be her face you shall see.

The wonderful love we all shared together
We will always remember you
And cherish you forever

Really more than anything we will all
find inner peace in your rememberace.
Now that you have gone home to be
with your brother Joey.

Leah, Violet and I will miss you terribly. I hope that you're up there giving Joey and Grandpa Leo a hard time. They would expect that I think.
Thinking of you.
