Thelma Mae Gendron, 93, of Attleboro passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Roland E. Gendron for over 67 years before his death in 2013.
Born June 23, 1924 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Frederick L. and Cecelia (McLaughlin) Jones.
Thelma grew up in North Attleboro and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. She has been a resident of Attleboro since 1952.
She worked as a payroll clerk at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for 15 years and retired over 30 years ago. She loved her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Duckworth and husband John of Bellingham;
Two grandchildren: Tom Lydon and wife Erin and Jennifer Rossignol and husband Richard;
Great grandchildren: Jake Lydon, charlotte and Ashley Rossignol;
And a nephew, Fred Jones of Mashpee.
She was sister of the late Ken Jones and Fred “Buck” Jones.
Graveside services were held at Mt. Hope Cemetery & Arboretum, Attleboro Falls.
