Nicholas Vito, age 77, of Plainville, Ma. Passed peacefully on November 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the devoted husband of Catherine (Horan) Vito for the last 49 years.
Nicholas worked for Boston Envelope in Canton until his retirement in 2002. He was a communicant and volunteer at St. Martha’s Church in Plainville for many years. He volunteered with Plainville Athletic League and King Philip sports boosters for many years. During his retirement, he became very active with the Plainville Senior Center where he made many friends with his warm nature. Nicholas’ smile was big but his heart was bigger always putting his family first.
Nicholas was predeceased by his dear sister Anna Vito Niles, and loving brother,John Vito, as well as his parents, Sylvia and Nicholas.
He is survived by his loving sons, Anthony, and Nicholas III, and a daughter, Cheryl.
Nicholas was also survived by his siblings. Joseph Vito, Sylvia Vito, and Rosemarie Ray.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 14, 2017 from 4-8pm at Sperry McHoul Funeral Home located at 15 Grove St. North Attleboro, MA. A funeral will be held from Sperry Mchoul Funeral Home at 9:30am Wednesday November 15, 2017 followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Martha's Church 227 South St. Plainville, MA at 10:30am.
Interment will follow the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in North Attleboro.
